21Shares Strategy Yield ETP Launch

21Shares has launched the 21Shares Strategy Yield ETP, a new investment product providing European investors access to Michael Saylor’s Strategy firm’s Bitcoin-backed preferred shares. This ETP will be listed on Euronext Amsterdam under the STRC NA symbol on Thursday and will be available to both institutional and retail investors. It offers dividends based on Strategy’s Bitcoin treasury consisting of 717.722 BTC, worth approximately $47 billion; providing a variable annual yield of 11.25%. This stands out as one of the first Bitcoin-backed structured corporate securities for European investors.

Strategy BTC Treasury and Saylor Strategy

The ETP provides exposure to Strategy’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual “Stretch” Preferred Stock, acting as a bridge between traditional finance and the Bitcoin treasury. 21Shares Chairman Duncan Moir stated that the product facilitates access through standard brokerage accounts and adds yield to portfolios. This launch, the company’s first equity-linked ETP, expands its crypto-focused product range. Operating since 2018, 21Shares manages $5.3 billion with 60 ETPs on 13 exchanges and launched the 21Shares Spot SUI ETF (TSUI) on Nasdaq on Tuesday. According to recent news, Saylor continues Bitcoin purchases with common shares while marketing preferred shares; additionally, Turkish Net Holding (NTHOL.IS) ranks 74th among institutional holders with 352 BTC.
