The news and price performance of the three crypto projects Cosmos (ATOM), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and ARPA.
Here is today’s update.
Cosmos (ATOM), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and ARPA: news from the three crypto projects.
Following last week’s latest news from Cosmos, which mentioned the integration of the ATOM ecosystem into the renowned hardware wallet provider Ledger, now the crypto project has shared new updates with its “Cosmonauts” crypto-community.
This is the launch of the new Neutron (NTRN) token as the Cosmos Hub consumer chain, an event organized in 3 phases, which started yesterday and will end on 5 June.
The Shiba Inu project, on the other hand, continues to progress from a technological standpoint, with the 11 million transactions recorded on its Layer 2 beta, the Shibarium Puppynet.
Not only that, dedicated to its Shibarmy, Shiba Inu announced the new SHIB-themed cold wallets made by Tangem, pre-orders for which will begin on 29 May.
And finally, the ARPA project boasts to its Twitter followers that it is among the top ten most searched crypto assets on LunarCrush, the social intelligence platform for cryptocurrencies, NFTs and stocks. In fact, ARPA ranks sixth.
ARPA marks a 120% price pump in the past seven days
Taking a look at the price performance of the three cryptocurrencies, we see that ARPA in particular seems to be the one bucking the trend, registering a bullish move that has taken its price back to the days of December 2022.
Specifically, ARPA has registered a 120% pump in the past seven days. Its price has thus risen from $0.048 to the current $0.106.
Not only that, the market cap has also experienced the same trend, becoming at the time of writing nearly $132 million. Thanks to this achievement, its position in the overall crypto ranking also sees it rise to 177th position.
ARPA Network (ARPA) is a secure decentralized computing network built to improve blockchain equity, security and privacy.
The ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as a verifiable random number generator (RNG) infrastructure, secure wallet, bridge between chains, and decentralized custody on multiple blockchains.
Who knows whether this latest appreciation by ARPA investors is motivated by Randcast, a verifiable random number generator (RNG), which is the first application leveraging ARPA as infrastructure.
Cosmos (ATOM), Shiba Inu (SHIB): price performance speaks of bear market
In contrast to ARPA, the two crypto assets of ATOM and SHIB are seeing more of a bear market trend.
And indeed, despite the good news, ATOM has dumped 3.70% in the past seven days and 2.50% in the past month. At the time of writing, ATOM is worth $10.49, but its $3 billion market cap puts it in 21st position in the overall cryptocurrency rankings.
However, the one struggling to rise in price is SHIB, the “Dogecoin Killer” which can no longer keep up with its rival. SHIB is experiencing a price dump of 2.87% in the past seven days but 16.90% in the past month.
Its market cap of $5 billion keeps it in 15th position, still far behind the 8th crypto DOGE.
