The developers behind the game have promised to burn Terra Classic (LUNC) with 70% of the tokens it receives for selling GLS, its native asset.
The developers behind Meta Gloria, an upcoming play-to-earn (P2E) game building on Terra Classic, recently provided a major update on the game development progress. The project promises to burn LUNC tokens and will be launched as a role-playing game (RPG).
In the latest update, the developers disclosed that they have already finished 90% of the work towards building the game. They specifically mentioned adding PVE (Player versus Environment) content outside the simulated city in the game. This PVE content includes monsters for players to fight and missions to complete.
We are glad to inform you that more than 90% of the work is behind us. Added PVE content outside the city with monsters and missions. More news on the work done will be very soon.#LUNC #LUNCcommunity #OGMuji #OGCacti pic.twitter.com/dRDwlJXBoA

The developers also provided a brief glimpse of the game environment through a one-minute simulation. The simulation featured an avatar navigating through a lush and verdant natural setting with abandoned temples scattered around. Players can mint one of 2,000 NFT characters dubbed “Muji” to play the game.
The game stands out from other P2E games due to its visually stunning and sophisticated graphics, creating an immersive experience for players. This unique aspect has garnered significant interest from LUNC proponents, including reXx, a prominent community member.
reXx called public attention to the game in a recent tweet, emphasizing that it has not received as much interest as it deserves. He charged the community to show support for the developers. “Let’s improve what we can first within the community and show them the love they need. Working together is what makes us strong,” he stressed.
There are a lot of people within the $LUNC community that have not been paying attention to @MetaGloriaNFT. Please view this demo of a game that they have been building directly on the #LUNC blockchain. This is a high quality game compared to a lot of others I’ve seen.… https://t.co/n1w2WzIKw1

Utility on Terra Classic (LUNC)
The Meta Gloria game is still in development, and the launch of v1.01 is expected to occur on May 20. The developers behind the game disclosed in June 2022 that they intend to contribute to the burning campaign. To do this, they will incinerate 70% of the LUNC they get from selling GLS, the game’s native token.
This would not be the first P2E game project building on Terra Classic. Garuda The Protector, another game project on the chain, is currently in its beta testing phase, with the mainnet release expected in Q3. Besides the promise of burns, these projects also introduce more utility to the Terra Classic chain.
