Gentherm develops heating and cooling products for the auto industry and other markets based on its proprietary thermoelectric technologies. The company’s principal product is its Climate Control Seat (CCS) system, which permits drivers and passengers to control the heating and cooling of their seats. The CCS system uses no CFCs or other environmentally sensitive coolants. Gentherm has about 14,000 employees at facilities in the U.S., Germany, Mexico, China, Canada, Japan, England, Korea, Malta, Hungary, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Gentherm was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Northville, Michigan. The shares are a component of the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index.
