Does ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 3’ Have Post-Credits Scenes?

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 hits theaters this evening, bringing us the final chapter of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his rag-tag band of space heroes.

The reviews are in, and the general consensus is that this film is surprisingly bleak for one of the traditionally funniest sub-franchises within the MCU.

That likely has to do with the backstory of Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) who we’re supposed to learn quite a bit more about in this film—and it doesn’t look pretty:

An emotional farewell to one of my personal favorite crews in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sounds about right. This time around we follow Peter Quill along with Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) as they face new foes like Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) and the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji).

The big question—other than what happens and will anyone die—is whether or not the film has post or mid-credits scenes.

For now, I’ll only post the answer to this question and no spoilers about the scenes themselves. I’ll update this post after people have had a chance to watch the movie with another section with spoilers describing what happens once the credits roll. For now:

Yes, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 has both a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene. The first comes relatively quickly but you’ll have to wait until the bitter end for the second scene. Both are worth sticking around to watch, Coke-filled bladders be damned. The mid-credits scene is extremely important if you want to know what happens to the Guardians and how this changes everything. The post-credits scene sets up future events in the MCU. So stick around!

And stay tuned. I’ll update this post with more details soon!
