Which Celebrity Couple Should Replace Nick And Vanessa Lachey On ‘Love Is Blind’?

Nick and Vanessa Lachey just wrapped up their hosting duties on Season 4 of Love Is Blind, and if a vocal group of the show’s fans were to get their way, it would be the couple’s final season.

While Netflix hasn’t hinted at getting rid of the married duo who’ve hosted the series since it debuted in 2020, it’s been the subject of social media chatter and a viral Change.org petition ever since the Lacheys appeared on the recent and not-so-live reunion show.

The problems with the pair, as cited again and again by viewers, include the former boy bander’s low-energy engagement in the series and his wife’s alleged bias in favor of the show’s baddies (as well as her awkward obsession with becoming “Auntie Vanessa” whenever the first Love Is Blind baby comes around).

Only time will tell if Netflix acts on the criticisms and reconsiders the couple at the helm on the race-to-the-altar series—but it’s never too early to give some thought to their possible replacements.

Here are just a few celebrity couples who’d make winning picks to navigate the drama around next season’s nearly-weds and newlyweds.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stephani

Why they’d be a good fit: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stephani know plenty about marriage and about divorce, both of which would be helpful when dealing with Love Is Blind contestants. The country crooner said “I do” two times before he ever said it to the former No Doubt frontwoman, while Stephani was married once before they wed. The pair, who tied the knot in 2021, even discovered their love for each other on reality TV as they made their ways through high-profile divorces while serving side-by-side as coaches on The Voice.

Bonus appeal: The musicians would almost certainly shut down all those singing scenes in and out of the pods.

Steph and Ayesha Curry

Why they’d be a good fit: Steph and Ayesha Curry appear to have a rock solid union. The couple, who married in 2011, have three children together and are outspoken in support of each other and their family. The Warriors point guard and the Food Network star have the credentials to dish out matrimonial advice.

Bonus appeal: Experience. Just last year, the duo showed off their hosting chemistry on the HBO Max celebrity-couple game show About Last Night.

Pink and Carey Hart

Why they’d be a good fit: Pink and Carey Hart, who share two children together, swapped vows in 2006. But it’s not just the longevity of their union that would make them well-suited to talk about the merits of marriage with contestants. Given that the institution traditionally endorse sticking together “in good times and bad,” they’re own off-and-on-again past (which included a separation in 2008) could help them spot trouble in the newly connected couples on the show.

Bonus appeal: The “Get the Party Started” hit maker is know for her tell-it-like-it-is approach to all things, which is something Love Is Blind couples have desperately needed since Season 1.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Why they’d be a good fit: Another couple with plenty of reality TV credentials is Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who’ve been married since 2013 and have three children together. Parenting is a big part of their brand, however, given that they’ve publicly navigated the grief of pregnancy loss, the pain of fertility struggles and the difficulties that come with postpartum depression, it seems highly unlikely that they’d put any pressure on the show’s new couples to rush right in to having babies the way a certain current host has.

Bonus appeal: Fresh off a season filled with “mean girl” drama, Teigen might be uniquely qualified to address future such incidents on the show. In 2021, some of her own problematic past behavior was called out online, and it led her to admit she’d been “an insecure, attention seeking troll.” In the wake of it, she vowed to be better.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell

Why they’d be a good fit: They’ve been married since 2013, they’ve welcomed two kids to the world and they’ve been an open book about their home life ever since. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell also boast TV hosting experience, him with several game shows and her with a stint on the Disney Plus the series Encore!

Bonus appeal: The aforementioned open-book approach to their relationship—from their creative solution to her clogged milk duct to their “waiting for the stink” approach to bath time—could qualify as TMI. But just think, if they’re willing to volunteer details like those about themselves, what would they’d be willing to ask Love Is Blind participants?
