FC Barcelona New Shirt Design Leaked

The alleged design of Barcelona’s new shirt for the upcoming 2023/2024 season has been leaked by Footy Headlines.

The shirt will naturally come in the club’s traditional ‘blaugrana’ blue and red colours though they are more blue and scarlet this year five vertical and two wide stripes in total.

The lines at the sides of the stripes will have a diamond pattern, but one of the most interesting details that has been picked up on is that this and a shimmering diamond on the club logo both play homage to the highly successful women’s Femini team.

The new home jersey also sees the Catalans return to their most classic shirt design which was first introduced in 1912 and was used until the 1990s.

The club used similar colors for the stripes in 2017 and 2021, and the Nike swoosh, players’ names and numbers, plus the Spotify will all be white.

The new shirt will likely be officially launched in the summer after the current season has wrapped up in early June.

After first going on sale in FC Barcelona’s official stores dotted around the Catalan capital and the club’s Camp Nou stadium, it will then be made available on Nike’s official website and in other shops worldwide.

Barca will debut the new shirt, which will come with matching shorts, socks, and a range of other tracksuits, coats, jackets, and caps on their pre-season tour.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo in February, Barca’s men’s and women’s team plan to go on tour together to the United States.

Xavi Hernandez’s first team squad, who are almost certain to start next term as defending La Liga champions, are looking towards playing friendlies against Real Madrid and Juventus as seen in 2022.

This is because of the three teams’ united, continued support for the breakaway European Super League, with Roma backing out of playing in the Joan Gamper tournament last August thanks to tensions with football governing body UEFA
EFA
.

The club hopes to play matches in New York, Los Angeles and another city in the northern United States where many fans might also head to stadiums wearing the new shirt.
