Visa, a leader in digital payments, has announced a collaboration with the cryptocurrency payments app Wirex, allowing the latter to issue cryptocurrency debit cards to customers in more than 40 countries. Today, the two corporations issued a statement formalizing their relationship, marking the beginning of a long-term, worldwide alliance between the two organizations.
The crypto company can now reach a wider audience in the UK and Asia-Pacific thanks to its agreement with Visa. They want to “directly issue crypto-enabled debit and prepaid cards themselves to over 40 countries,” according to the news announcement.
