The final Friday of 2022 is upon us. Just one more day before the year flips over and we all celebrate with a rowdy night of reverie and reminiscence.
This is always a bit of an odd week. For many students, it’s the last week of Winter Break. It’s wedged between two major holiday weekends—Christmas and New Year’s—and, for me at least, it pretty much saps all my motivation away. It’s cold out. There’s snow on the ground and in the forecast. A fire on the hearth. A nip in the air.
It feels like holiday, is what I’m getting at. Like a string of lazy Sundays all woven together into a nine-day stretch. But hey, I’m not complaining. Let’s do this Wordle!
How To Solve Today’s Wordle (Spoiler Warning!)
The Hint: Think Steve Martin in Little Shop Of Horrors.
The Clue: There are fewer vowels than there are consonants in this word.
The Answer:
Today’s Wordle
The molar of the story is, Wordle Bot can bite me. I got this one in a smooth three and ye olde bot took four to nab his answer, faltering on polar before landing on molar. This is where dream really came in handy. Not only did it narrow things down to just five guesses, it gave me that marvelous ‘M’.
I was pretty sure that the word would start with ‘M’ at this point, and tried the first word that I could think of: mural, which left me with just one remaining guess, and a pretty obvious one at that. I didn’t even have to chew on it, I knew lickity-split. Moral was the only option remaining to me.
A hooray and a huzzah for the win and the defeat of the dastardly Wordle Bot! Happy Friday, you beautiful Wordlers! See you on New Year’s Eve!
