WWE Raw advertised Becky Lynch vs. Bayley, The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis in a winner-take-all Ladder Match and The Street Profits vs. The Judgment Day. WWE Raw will also feature follow-up from last week’s cliffhanger ending where WWE official Adam Pearce fired Bobby Lashley, only to rehire him via Twitter.

Last week’s broadcast of WWE Raw drew 1.574 million viewers.

Throughout the show, The Bloodline ran amok backstage as they seem to be spending the entire broadcast trying to get on WorldStar.

The announce team continued to talk up Montez Ford’s physique, but Angelo Dawkins’ physical transformation can’t be discounted either.

Akira Tozawa spit some of the Street Profits’ Hen Dog in Dominik Mysterio’s face as these misting spots continue to be a weekly occurrence with Dominik.

The Street Profits and Akira Tozawa go so well together. I hope he becomes their permanent ninja.

Rhea Ripley def. Akira Tozawa

The Street Profits gassed up Akira Tozawa to accept Rhea Ripley’s challenge, and when he did, this crowd was onboard for the entire match.

Rhea Ripley wrestling a man, and winning, is yet another step toward Ripley competing in both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumbles and winning at least one.

The O.C. def. Alpha Academy

Fans in Iowa chanted “we want Otis!” for the midwest wrestler.

The Bloodline brought their show-long assault to the ring when they laid waste to The O.C. in a promo, Sami Zayn even acknowledged that fans don’t want the heels to leave, and the fans obliged.

Sami Zayn is learning how to cut promos like an Uso and it’s brilliant.

Backstage, Alexa Bliss attacked Bianca Belair after gaslighting Bray Wyatt by saying he left her with abandonment issues.

The Miz def. Dexter Lumis; Bronson Reed Returns

A bunch of money was suspended in a clear plastic bag, making this essentially look like a glorified Money in the Bank match.

Dexter Lumis placed a ladder near Miz’s nether region, but didn’t get the enthusiastic “tiny balls” chant he was hoping for.

There was not much heat for the first half of the match, but once they introduced the announce table, fans came alive for the finishing sequences.

Bronson Reed crashed this match—to no reaction—and laid out Dexter Lumis. It’s the latest return in an era filled with returns and little follow-up.

Sami Zayn def. AJ Styles

Sami Zayn picked up the win over AJ Styles with help from a Samoan Spike. Zayn is on the short list of Royal Rumble favorites.

Adam Pearce, who is horrible at his job, continued to scream into the abyss after Zayn’s nefarious win.

Seth Rollins Faces off with Austin Theory

Just an hour after chanting “Sami Uso,” these Iowans booed The Bloodline to appease hometown hero Seth Rollins.

Austin Theory received massive heat opposite Seth Rollins in Iowa.

Theory recycled the “third-most successful member of The Shield” line, inadvertently putting over AEW.

Kevin Owens came to Seth Rollins’ aid against The invading Usos, who continue to do their best impression of the NWO.

Bayley def. Becky Lynch

Becky and Bayley worked their tails off, essentially having a pay-per-view match on television.

Bayley won when the referee became distracted with his own ruling after he kicked out Damage CTRL.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins def. The Usos

Given how many people had to be protected, and all the outside interference on the evening, this match had “disqualification” written all over it.

Solo Sikoa was intercepted by The O.C. and a brawl ensued. Austin Theory laid out Rollins with the U.S. Title, leaving Kevin Owens in a two-on-one predicament. It didn’t matter as Owens won anyway.

The Usos losing a non-title match against two wrestlers who haven’t teamed together in months undercuts their aura as record-breaking tag team champions.
