Planning for holiday travel can be daunting, especially if you missed the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals (although some are still around). Travel is rebounding incredibly fast, and airlines, hotels and cruise companies are ready to entice travelers back. And that includes a good percentage of travelers looking to upgrade their experience to something better than what they have done in the past.
The recently debuted Fall Luxe Report from The Leading Hotels of the World confirms that travelers are continuing to “trade up” with their travel purchases. President and CEO Shannon Knapp says the luxury hotel group’s suite and villa bookings are 36% above 2019 levels. The report also showed a continued interest in domestic travel, despite international borders having reopened.
The group’s metropolitan properties have seen a 100% increase in revenue since 2021, and U.S. outbound travel to Europe is up approximately 225% YOY and flat to 2019. No matter where you are traveling, these are some of the latest holiday offers to upgrade your experience.
