This segment of What’s Ahead explains that while Republicans didn’t win overwhelmingly, they did do well in the midterms. They performed far better than it looked they would six weeks ago. The GOP took the House and will likely win the Senate.
Republicans will be pushing positive issues, such as opening up federal lands for badly needed oil and gas production.
The GOP did mishandle the abortion issue, but overall, given the continuing disasters of Democratic policies, Republicans will be in excellent shape for 2024. Florida is the model of what will happen in the next elections.
