- Through a crypto wallet project, the SushiSwap Head Chef stole the funds, accusal say.

Explanation by SushiSwap Head Chef
After taking over the responsibilities, Grey now came with the clarification of all the allegations. As he wrote in his recent Twitter thread on October 11, 2022 that “the accusations towards me are 100% untrue.”
He starts the explanation over the accusations towards him that in 2019 his business partner stole the funds from the crypto community and he was busy in raising funds to launch the Bitfineon exchange.
Grey said when the investors and he found out about the fraud, they fired him and refunded the affected users. He shared the Medium post from 2019 about the same. It was a “Liberio- A detailed report regarding unauthorized access.”
The report justifies as “Certain aspects of this report reference data that is incomplete and impossible to validate, so this report will serve to provide clarity from data that is both public and private, and in our custody, while avoiding unwarranted conjecture or accusation.”
Whereas, “Liberio was an online wallet that claimed to utilize data sharding to store encrypted data on the ALQO masternode network; masternodes are the backbone of the ALQO network.”
He further includes some other accusations which were false, according to him. He always works with integrity in the crypto space and one can reach out to any person with whom he had worked before. He accepts his business failures and he is OK with it as it comes with the territory. He ended his words by pointing out the baseless accusations are caustic and wrong. And he will be available to answer any questions at any time.
A ETH and DeFi enthusiast, YannickCrypto shared in a Tweet thread on October 10, 2022 with some details about Gery.
