- It has a consistent floor price of 10ETH
- ETH Price at the time of writing – $1,322.53
- Project once had a daily average sale price of 40ETH
Yet another OpenSea flaw reappears. For the once-superior NFT collection, Azukis, it’s not the best way to end the week.
On Friday, holders of Azuki NFTs received an email from OpenSea informing them that numerous Azuki NFTs were being delisted.
Despite its substantial fall from grace, the once-blue chip collection still commands high respect with a floor price of around 10 ETH recently.
A Bug in OpenSea?
Even though the project appears to be being relisted throughout the day on Friday, the error is yet another instance of an accidental delisting of a significant OpenSea project.Let’s examine additional situational details and what to anticipate next.
On Friday, there was a lot of speculation in the NFT community because some people thought it might have a big effect on the collection rather than being a mistake made by OpenSea.
Demna has described the problem as a technical error on OpenSea, and the NFT marketplace issued a statement of their own on Friday morning stating that Azukis was delisted due to an error in our Trust & Safety flagging system, but that their team worked quickly to fix the problem.

Floor price before and after the delisting debacle was relatively unmoved
This is not the first time this has occurred with a blue chip collection on OpenSea, as the Azuki Twitter account mentioned.Bored Ape Yacht Club encountered a similar predicament in June when OpenSea temporarily delisted a portion of the BAYC collection.
Overall, this is not a new problem or one that is particularly easy to understand, but its effects can be significant.Fortunately for Azukis, the floor price remained relatively unchanged prior to and following the delisting disaster on Friday, falling to 9.97 ETH at the time of publication from just above 10 ETH.
Despite this, it has still been a significant downfall for a project that was once very successful. The project had a daily average sale price of just shy of 40 ETH at one point earlier this year. However, in recent months, some Azukis have sold for a fraction of that, sometimes logging daily average sales of 6 ETH to 7 ETH.
