Global superstar Kygo will headline the Forbes Under 30 Music Festival at the iconic Detroit Opera House on October 2, marking the kickoff of the 2022 flagship Summit, presented by Rocket Mortgage. The Under 30 Music Festival has historically drawn some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Jack Harlow, The Chainsmokers, Normani, Billie Eilish and 21 Savage, with this year being no exception. This year’s attendees will also hear from bass prodigy and burgeoning pop icon Blu DeTiger, who is kicking off her North American headline tour this fall.
Kygo reaffirmed his status as a tremendous talent, forward-thinking producer, dynamic DJ and influential global superstar earlier this year when he amassed 23 billion global audio and video streams. One of his biggest hits, the multiplatinum “It Ain’tMe,” which features Selena Gomez, appeared on the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and clocked over 2.9 billion streams worldwide.
Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer of Forbes and founder of the Under 30 Summit said that the goal is to make the 2022 event Forbes’ most immersive one yet, noting “with Kygo as our headliner, a multitude of A-list speakers, industry-focused excursions, captivating conversations and programming and so much more, we’re looking forward to gathering the world’s top young leaders, founders and creators for a life-changing four days of connecting and building in the technology hub of the Midwest.”
