Mary Elizabeth Truss has been announced as the 56th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as the conservatives manage to deliver a third woman for the top job. Labour remains at none.
Sir Graham Brady, the Chairman of the 1922 Committee, stated 172,000 votes by conservative party members were eligible at an 82% turnout.
