A Digital Currency Group’s subsidiary Foundry has launched a latest course. The purpose behind the program is to provide training to technicians. Hence preparing them for the bitcoin mining industry. Foundry is a crypto mining and staking firm.
With its latest training course that also offers certificates to participants, Foundry gives a strong competition to training courses from Bitmain and MicroBT. MicroBT is the biggest manufacturer of Bitcoin mining rigs. Aspiring engineers will be benefited from this as they will have the chance to receive quality education.
However, trainees will be required to keep the information gained through the training program extremely private. This is in compliance with the terms of services mentioned on Bitman’s official site. On the other hand, MicroBT uses YouTube to train individuals. Hence providing free training.
The company’s headquarter, Rochester, New York will play host to the Foundry Academy’s one-week program. As per a press release. Founder Academy is providing a one-week program and providing courses ranging from fundamentals of Bitcoin mining, mining rig diagnostics and maintenance.
The first summit of the program was held in May. Now the next training is expected to begin from Sept. 12. The press release also stated that Foundry will also help graduates land jobs through its connections in the industry.
Quinn Carr was among the first batch of cohorts who attended the program. Carr now works at a publicly listed bitcoin mining company. Quinn was all praise for Foundry, saying only it could provide industry training at this level.
