Saturday, July 16th Word Of The Day

Saturday is upon us and that means it’s time for me to head off to the local Celtic Festival and listen to some Celtic music, watch people throw heavy stuff and sample some whiskey. It’s also a great excuse to wear my kilt—not that you need an excuse, of course.

But first, let’s Wordle. Today’s is a bit of a tricky word and I opened with what may be my absolute worse starting guess. Oh dear.

And the answer is . . . .

So yeah, another interesting and unexpected Wordle word of the day, though not quite as tricky as yesterday’s.

My first guess was patently awful. Stain normally gets you down to 114 possible solutions but today I was left with 354—the unluckiest outcome according to Wordle Bot.

Bowel got me down to 21, and porky reduced that number to just one single solution—a solution I had to think about for a very long time before settling on roomy. But hey, four isn’t all that bad. I’ll take it!
