Prominent Kava Network protocol with speed and interoperability based on Cosmos Network is looking for its Kava 10 upgrade.
Layer 1 blockchain Kava Network has rescheduled its highly anticipated Kava 10 upgrade that will go live on May 25th, 2022. Earlier, this Kava Network 1.0 Mainnet Launch was scheduled to launch on May 10th, 2022, but the Kava Network announced the rescheduling on its official Twitter handle on May 8th. The tweet stated that the Kava 10 upgrade was scheduled for May 25th, and the reason for this was said to be to avoid any potential risk to ensure the launch goes smoothly. The Kava network team thanked the Kava community for their recommendation to vote ‘No’ for launch on May 10th.
Kava Network is a software protocol known for using multiple cryptocurrencies at the same time that allows its user’s assets for borrowing and lending that would not need any sort of intermediary during a traditional financial payment. This is how the Kava network is considered to be one among numerous emerging decentralized finance projects. Kava protocol is built on Cosmos Network where most known defi projects are on Ethereum network still its design decision adds additional functionality as its developer team argues.
Kava network works on the co-chain architecture that is optimized to be used by developers. Kava has a co-chain of the Ethereum network that enables supporting the Ethereum virtual machine or EVM contracts. Its Cosmos co-chain enables the software to securely replicate an application on many machines with a lighting fast speed Tendermint consensus engine and an Inter Blockchain Communication Protocol.
These two co chains are interconnected by a translator module, enabling them to seamlessly interoperate that bringing Ethereum and Cosmos networks, which are known to be the two most used blockchain development ecosystems, together within a scalable yet single network.
Kava Network 1.0 Mainnet Launch will feature the co-chain architecture of its chains enabled for Ethereum and Cosmos networks. This would enable the developers to build or create projects in Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM) and Cosmos SDK execution ecosystem, providing seamless interoperability between these two among the largest decentralized networks available in the space.
