Today’s ‘Wordle’#324 Answer And Hint: Monday, May 9th

Well, here we are again, setting forth into a new week. Plunging, as always, into the great unknown—and the day-to-day humdrum, all at once.

2022 is racing along. I swear each year gallops faster than the last. The days blur together. The weeks, the months. “Time marches on,” they say, but in many ways it’s more of a high-speed bullet train.

At least, that’s how it feels to me these days. Perhaps a little bit of that is the Wordling. Marking each day with a new Wordle puzzle guide. Solving word after word after word. “Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,” Macbeth complained. “Creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time.”

Sometimes this hits rather close to the bone. But anyways, I ramble and ramble and should get to the point. We’re not here to talk Shakespeare, we’re here to solve today’s Wordle.

Today’s Wordle #324 Hints

Today’s Wordle #324 Answer

This was a pretty easy word compared to the last couple, but it’s one of those words that can be challenging simply because there are a number of very similar words that could make the guess a bit trickier.

Okay, here’s the answer:

I almost went with swine on my fourth guess simply because it’s a more interesting word than shine, but my gut told me that shine would be a more likely Wordle answer and sure enough . . . .

My first guess did very little for me other than to eliminate some common letters, but guess #2 was a lot better, not only getting two letters in green, but eliminating even more common letters in the process.

For whatever reason, Wordle Bot isn’t loading for me right now, so I can’t really speak to the snarky little punk’s opinion of my guesses here, but I suspect it would say things like “Solid choice” for my first guess but guessing Crane eliminates lots more words blah blah blah.

Spine was the natural next guess, and this (as far as I can tell) narrowed my possible final guess to just the two choices, and I guessed the right one. Yay for me!
