Finastra has announced the expansion of its team recently with the addition of Isabel Fernandez, former Commercial Leader at GE, as its EVP, Lending Business Unit. In her new role, Isabel will accelerate the growth of Finastra’s lending business.
Recently, Isabel worked with ING, one of the leading European financial services providers, as the Global Head of Wholesale Banking. She was also serving as a Board Member. Isabel played an important role in driving ING’s global sustainability strategy.

In her broad professional career, the newly appointed EVP of Finastra’s Lending Business Unit worked with several prominent names in the global corporate sector. She spent approximately 16 years at GE Company in various roles, including Commercial Leader.

During her time at ING, Isabel focused on technology-driven innovations and different digital initiatives to drive the company’s growth. At Finastra, she aims to introduce several strategic initiatives to assist Finastra’s expansion.
