Club Tigres UANL is the latest football club to accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in sports. The Mexican club is partnering with Bitso, a leading crypto exchange in the country, to let fans buy match tickets with Bitcoin and the company.
With a recent alliance, it will be achievable to complete purchases inside the Tigres stadium or buy tickets for matches.

“Fans who have crypto with Bitso can now buy their tickets for upcoming matches, such as Tigres-America, next April 23 at the Estadio Universitario.”
The alliance between the two has been in place since November last year but has finally yielded fruits, leading to a breakthrough for the club’s digitally inclined fans. Bitso will be working alongside Boletomóvil and BitPay to make this happen. All Bitso users can buy tickets using their cryptocurrencies on the exchange going forward.
