El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has recently opted to stay a ghost for the Bitcoin conference 2022 in Miami. He highlighted that some unforeseen circumstances have arisen that need his full attention.
The El Salvador President Was To Make Another Announcement
Although he did not disclose what exactly those circumstances are in the letter made public via Twitter by the conference organizers. But the letter highlights his citing, he has to be in another flank in the battle for freedom.
The country accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender is presently in an aggressive battle against maras, which are criminal gangs. Around 62 individuals were killed in murders late last month, imputed to a local mara. Forcing El Salvador’s Legislative assembly to suspend the constitutional rights for 30 days.
El Salvador’s National Police reported that 6,894 members of the gang had been arrested in the last eleven days.
El Salvador President Nayib Bukele further highlighted in the letter that he had the sincere hope to participate in the event in order to make another announcement, another small contribution in their fight for the liberation of money, which is one of the pillars of modern society.
He cited that he had to make the hard decision to cancel his participation in the conference due to unforeseen circumstances in his home country. As being the El Salvador President, it needs his full attention.

Nayib Bukele’s nation indeed needs his attention, but it is to be seen now when he makes the announcement public.
