The team of burger chain Welly has not disclosed much detail about the process, but they have said about active participation in doing so
Shiba Inu-themed fast-food burger chain Welly has confirmed in a recent blog post that it will actively participate in the SHIB tokens burning process. For this regard, it would take help from NOWPayements, a crypto payment gateway.
The burger chain will bring a system of gift cards due to high fees, but the team said that everything would be very simple and will be implemented as soon as their layer 2 solution, Shibarium, gets introduced.
The crypto payment gateway, NOWPayments, has launched a new feature that would allow SHIB and LEASH tokens to burn. Fast-food chain Welly also accepts payments in native SHIB tokens, and it is also planning to add payments support for the rival meme coin of Shiba Inu, Dogecoin (DOGE).
The fast-food chain went through a major upgrade in its rebranding in February, after which it has made the meme coin Shiba Inu its mascot officially. Welly is a burger joint venture based in Naples that announced that it was ready for global expansion.
In its new blog post, Welly said it would introduce the next flagship store by early 2023. The team of fast food join is also implementing some of the most suitable applications that would prepare a franchise opening wildfire which is expected to happen in 2023. It claims that the firm offers healthy fast food to its customers, supposedly setting Welly apart from fast food giants like MacDonald’s.

The burger joint venture has also tried out the nonfungible tokens by recently launching its two new NFTs in late March. Welly announced a whitelist for NFTs purchasing to tackle situations like paper hands and bots.
Meme coin Shiba Inu team recently partnered with the prominent label in fashion space, John Richmond, in the direction to create an NFT collection. The fashion brand has also promised the team to burn the native SHIB tokens with the help of NOWPayments.
Recently the Shiba Inu team also announced the creation of their metaverse that would have around 100K total plots. Those plots would have a range of prices according to their location inside the digital space. It would allow users to buy the digital land in Ethereum as the Shiba Inu team wanted to use a non-biased and stable cryptocurrency.
