Universal Music Group Disclose The New Addition In Kingship Group: A BAYC Purchase

Yesterday, Universal Music Group (UMG) announced their latest Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) purchase. The ape will be the manager of their KINGSHIP group.

The Ape Will Manage KINGSHIP

Bored Ape #5537 is the latest addition to KINGSHIP, the music label’s metaverse band under their metaverse label 10:22 PM. On the official Twitter handle of the group, the team revealed the ape as “Manager Noët All ” and is expected to manage the group.

Manager Noët Al is being called a crypto millionaire who is well versed in different languages. The character however has no past experience of managing a music group and is depending on the information gathered through music documentaries excited to take the challenge.

The launch of the group website and discord channel was followed by the announcement. The website. KINGSHIP hopes that the website and discord platform will help in expanding the community and keep them updated on the latest events in the KINGSHIP universe.

Being extra active in the NFT space lately, UMG has already announced two partnerships, one with Curio, an NFT marketplace in February, and another early this month with Billboard and Flow blockchain.

Last year, label 10:22 PM unveiled KINGSHIP in November. Kingship constitutes 3 Bored Apes and a Mutant Ape. According to data from Etherscan, the latest addition, Manager Noët All, was bought for 125 ETH or $367,746.25.

BAYC Ruling The Metaverse Music Space

In November last year, BAYC hosted a music concert in New York dubbed “Ape Fest,” for verified holders of MAYC NFTs and BAYC. Stars including Lil Baby, The Strokes, Aziz Ansari graced the event with their performances. In the following week, KINGSHIP was unveiled.

Interestingly, on the same day KINGSHIP was unveiled, Timbaland, the famous music producer announced that he was launching an entertainment brand on the metaverse dubbed “Ape-In Productions.” The entertainment brand is expected to promote Bored Apes as artists in the metaverse.

BAYC has positioned itself as the go-to collection for music stars and celebrities. As its club members, it has big names such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Takeoff associated with it. Nonetheless, the creators of Bores Ape Yacht Club, Yuge Labs do not seem to be stopping. Recently, the company launched ApeCoin, a governing token for the ecosystem, and bought the IP for Meebits and CryptoPunks.
