Know all about the 4 most searched and popular NFTs

Design Bundle, which provides design materials and a marketplace to assist designers in creating and selling their work, has produced a list of the most sought NFTs in late 2021.

The NFTs were rated based on the number of times they were searched on Google in a given month.

1. Axie

Axie Infinity (AXS) topped the list, with a massive 3.86 million monthly searches. Axie Infinity is essentially an NFT-based Ethereum game in which players may acquire, breed, and confront one another to win over NFT-based animals known as “Axis.”

Axie Infinity, which was founded in 2018, expanded 750 times by 2021 to become the highest-earning Defi initiative.

This notoriety led to an exponential growth in the value of Axis, raising their all-time value to $4.14 billion and making them one of the most popular NFTs.

2. Sandbox

The Sandbox (SAND) comes after Axie Infinity on the list, with a significant gap in between. Nonetheless, it received attention throughout 2021. The Sandbox is a virtual metaverse where people may buy land, develop, create avatars, and enhance them with NFTs.

Virtual real estate has been the most traded NFT throughout 2021, with the majority of them trading on The Sandbox. In addition, Snoop Dogg joined the metaverse to rebuild his real-life house, while JP Morgan launched the metaverse’s first bank branch.

3. NBA

NBA Top Shot landed in third place, with nearly as many search hits as The Sandbox. NBA Top Shot functions as an NFT marketplace, allowing the top moments in NBA history to be collected and traded in an NFT style. NBA Top Shot now has over 520,000 traders, with some NFTs valued at $230 million, and the marketplace has a total volume of $862,9 million.

4. Sorare

Sorare was fourth on the list, closely following third place. Sorare is another well-known game-based NFT marketplace where players may trade and manage virtual football clubs.

Finally, Decentraland is ranked fifth.

Decentraland is also a Sandbox-like metaverse where users may buy virtual lands using MANA, the protocol’s native currency.
