Cardano shows no signs of decelerating

Cardano is one of the rapidly growing blockchain projects. Since its establishment, the project has made a robust community and gained notable attraction. The blockchain is not slowing its pace and keeps on integrating significant features to grow more. Recently, Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), the firm behind the blockchain, announced plans to launch a script that will see the network’s capacity enhanced in a bid to meet the demands of its fast-growing ecosystem.

Cardano announces its next parameter update

According to the latest announcement from the team behind Cardano, they have proposed the next parameter update as they continue to increase Cardano’s network capacity in line with the plan. According to the Monday tweet, the latest proposal will enhance the block size by more than 8KB, taking the total size from 72KB to 80KB.

Following the announcements, experts noted that the latest adjustment, which the team calls Pipelining or Cardano’s plumbing, would mean an 11% increase in the current block size.

Indeed, the latest measures will help enable the network to carry out more transactions and level down on transaction threats that are associated with heavy traffic.

Proposal has been triggered

IOHK has revealed that the latest proposal has been triggered. Indeed, now the team will boost Plutus script memory units per transaction on the network from 12.5 million to 14 million.

Notably, Plutus is the smart contracts platform for the blockchain that allows developers to write applications on the Cardano blockchain as well as forge new tokens in a lightweight environment.

Furthermore, the developers have also observed that the block size and memory increment would take place on Friday.

Cardano’s roadmap is inline

The latest measures being taken by the IOHK show that the blockchain’s most significant step in 2022 is in line with a plan to scale and optimize Cardano, which falls within the ecosystem’s Basho phase. As these minor upgrades hit, the mainnet experts expect the dApp UX to be seamless and attract more devs and strengthen the network.

It is incredible to see how the team’s dedication has helped Cardano in strengthening the network’s capability, which has seen its load spike to 90% last month. Now the blockchain boasts approximately 3,000,000 registered wallets.
