In a direct response to the growing “Quantum Anxiety” sparked by recent breakthroughs at Google and IBM, Ripple officially unveiled its Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) roadmap for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) on April 21, 2026.
Partnering with the specialist firm Project Eleven, Ripple’s Head of Engineering, J. Ayo Akinyele, detailed a multi-phase transition designed to reach full quantum readiness by 2028.
