For decades, ABBA’s catalog, which is filled with some of the most memorable pop singles from decades past, has stood out as one of the most valuable in the music industry. The group has changed how musicians perceive their work, as the Swedes have been able to turn a collection of popular songs into a successful Broadway show, a film franchise, and more recently, a hologram show in London, which has earned millions.
Despite all of ABBA’s success, the group is playing catch-up when it comes to the Billboard charts. The Grammy-nominated vocal troupe regularly appears on the company’s dance rankings, but only a handful of tunes and one full-length have managed to appear. This frame, two of ABBA’s most famous singles hit their all-time highs.
“Fernando” Hits a New Sales Chart High
ABBA collects a new top 10 smash on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, as “Fernando” climbs. Last time around, the tune lifted to No. 13 on Billboard’s list of the bestselling dance cuts in the nation, and for a short period, that stood as its loftiest placement. This time around, “Fernando” surges 10 spaces north, leaping from No. 13 to No. 3.
ABBA Earns the Band’s Second Dance Chart Top 10
As “Fernando” ascends, ABBA scores only its second top 10 hit on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. Now that “Fernando” has reached No. 3, the only two tracks that the quartet has placed on the genre-specific ranking have climbed into the uppermost region.
“Dancing Queen” Returns to Its All-Time Peak
“Fernando” now stands as ABBA’s highest-rising win on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. It pushes past “Dancing Queen,” which improves from No. 5 to No. 4. “Dancing Queen,” which may be regarded as ABBA’s most famous cut, previously reached its current spot in May 2025 and is now 41 frames into its time on the Dance Digital Song Sales list, where the beloved composition returns to its previously set high point.
ABBA Blocked From No. 1 by Two Holdovers
A pair of stationary cuts block ABBA from hitting No. 1. “Turn the Lights Off” by Kato and Jon is a non-mover at the summit, while a cover of T.A.T.U’s “All the Things She Said” by Harrison, which was made famous after it was included in the hugely popular series Heated Rivalry, is comfortable in the runner-up space.

ABBA nearly conquers the Top Dance Albums chart this frame, as Gold: Greatest Hits pushes from No. 3 to No. 2. After a year on the list, which looks at the most consumed dance projects, the compilation finally reached No. 1 earlier this month. Gold: Greatest Hits remains ABBA’s only set to reach the Top Dance Albums ranking, and thus the group’s sole top 10 and No. 1.
Lady Gaga Blocks ABBA From Another Week at No. 1
ABBA is kept from another stint at No. 1 on the Top Dance Albums chart by Lady Gaga, who can usually be found at the summit. The Grammy and Oscar winner trades one ruler for another this time around, as Mayhem slips from No. 1 to No. 3 and The Fame jumps from No. 2 to the peak position.
Mayhem and The Fame rank as two of the longest-running leaders in the history of the Top Dance Albums list. Mayhem recently passed Gaga’s own Chromatica within her discography when it landed a thirty-seventh stint in the top spot. The Fame, meanwhile, needs only about one more month before it reaches the historic milestone of 200 turns atop the Top Dance Albums list.
