Jason Aldean Helps His Wife Reach The Billboard Charts For The First Time

Later this spring, Jason Aldean will release Songs About Us, his upcoming twelfth album. The country musician began promoting the set back in September of 2025, when he dropped the single “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?,” a tune which continues to rise on a number of Billboard charts months after it was initially shared.

As Aldean keeps the promotion of “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” going, a pair of just-shared cuts from his forthcoming full-length become bestsellers in the country space – and one is special within his discography, as it is a family affair.

Jason and Brittany Aldean Debut Inside the Top 10 with “Easier Gone”

Aldean recruited his wife, Brittany, an influencer and businesswoman, to join him on one of the tracks featured on Songs About Us. “Easier Gone” is a duet between the husband and wife, and the excitement around the collaboration helps it become an immediate top 10 smash on a pair of Billboard-published rankings.

“Easier Gone” sold nearly 2,200 copies in its first tracking frame, according to Luminate. That sum is enough to bring the duet to No. 4 on the Country Digital Song Sales list and No. 10 on the all-style Digital Song Sales roster.

Brittany Aldean Scores Her First Hit Song in the U.S.

Brittany Aldean is brand new to the Billboard charts, and she scores her first win thanks to her husband’s popularity. Jason Aldean has already reached the top 10 on both rankings where “Easier Gone” debuts, and he adds to his career totals this time around. “Easier Gone” marks Aldean’s fifteenth top 10 smash on the Digital Song Sales chart and his thirty-sixth win on the Country Digital Song Sales roster.

Jason Aldean Charts Two New Bestsellers

Aldean scores two new hits this week, and both reach the Country Digital Song Sales chart. While the focus is clearly on “Easier Gone,” fans also turned fellow promotional tune “What’s a Little Heartache” into a bestseller, if only a minor one. That solo cut starts at lucky No. 13 on the list of the bestselling country tracks on platforms such as iTunes and Amazon.

“Easier Gone” Earns the Top Debut on the Country Sales Chart

The two Aldeans land this week’s loftiest debut on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. Two other tracks, Zach Bryan’s “Bad News” and “What’s a Little Heartache,” also help refresh the list, as they open at Nos. 6 and 13, respectively.

Over on the non-genre-specific Digital Song Sales list, the Aldeans come in behind Bruno Mars, who launches his comeback smash “I Just Might” atop the roster. Mars moves up into a tie with Beyoncé, Eminem, and BTS with an even dozen leaders on the Digital Song Sales roster, claiming one of the most impressive accumulations of winners of all time.

“How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” Hits New Peaks

While “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” continues to grow at radio, that track hits new high points on both the Country Airplay and Radio Songs lists, simultaneously improving to Nos. 5 and 19, respectively. At the same time, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” nearly finds its way back to its all-time peak on the Hot 100. Previously, the Aldean single topped out at No. 49, and this frame, the song lifts two spaces to No. 50, missing out on finding its way back to that position by just one slot.
