CertiK, a leading provider of blockchain security solutions, has entered a strategic partnership with YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs), an investment platform focused on long-term innovation in Web3, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. The collaboration centers on enhancing the security infrastructure of startups participating in the EASY Residency incubation program.
EASY Residency is a global initiative led by YZi Labs that supports early-stage companies committed to building long-term value across the Web3, AI, and biotech sectors. As part of this new partnership, CertiK will offer a dedicated $1 million audit grant to all program participants. In addition, startups will receive access to CertiK’s Skynet Boosting and AI-powered code-scanning tools.
YZi Labs will facilitate direct engagement between CertiK and its incubated startups, helping founders better understand and integrate CertiK’s suite of security services.
“Security is the foundation of long-term success, but for early-stage founders, it’s often a high-stakes distraction while they are still chasing Product-Market Fit. Think of it like building a skyscraper: founders should focus on the architecture and the vision, while CertiK acts as the structural engineers, ensuring the frame is earthquake-proof,” said Ella Zhang, Head of YZi Labs.
Professor Ronghui Gu, Co-Founder and CEO of CertiK, emphasized the broader significance of the initiative: “We believe that our collaboration with YZi Labs will significantly improve the security level of projects, providing necessary guarantees for their long-term development. This is not only related to the growth of projects but also to the health and sustainability of the entire Web3 ecosystem.”
The alliance signals a shift in early-stage Web3 incubation, prioritizing robust security alongside rapid innovation. By combining technical resources and foundational funding, the two organizations aim to establish a new standard for startup readiness, one in which security is embedded from the outset. YZi Labs’ approach also reflects its broader strategy to evolve traditional incubation models and promote more sustainable project development in the blockchain space.
