More than 20 years ago, Eminem changed what was possible with rap music when he released “Lose Yourself,” which would go on to become one of his biggest hits and one of the most successful hip-hop tracks of all time. The cut won several Grammys and became the first rap tune to win Best Original Song at the Academy Awards. The fact that it has taken “Lose Yourself” so long to finally become a winner on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart is difficult to believe, given how much time the tune has spent on the tally and how popular it has remained throughout the years. In just a month, “Lose Yourself” will reach a full decade — 520 weeks — on the Rap Digital Song Sales roster, where it is far and away Eminem’s longest-running bestseller.
The Longevity of “Lose Yourself” Is Unmatched
“Lose Yourself” has spent more time on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart than all of the other current bestsellers on this week’s list combined. In fact, Eminem’s award-winning blockbuster has spent almost twice as much time as all the other bestsellers combined – times two – but it misses out on managing that feat by just one week.

As “Lose Yourself” ascends to the throne, Eminem scores his nineteenth No. 1 on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart. Of that bunch, only one track — “Love the Way You Lie,” a collaboration with Rihanna — has dominated for double-digit weeks, as it has run the show 12 times.

In 2024, the hip-hop powerhouse claimed three new leaders. “Houdini,” which introduced his latest album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), arrived in first place in June. Before 2025 rolled around, both “Murdergram Deux” with LL Cool J and “Somebody Save Me,” a duet with Jelly Roll, hit the top spot as well.

Eminem earns a brand new top 10 – and his first hit – on other genre-specific rosters this week. Alongside Jack White, the rapper launches “Hello Operator / Till I Collapse (Live at Ford Field)” at No. 6 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales tally and No. 13 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart.
