Here’s how much Microsoft investors will receive in this week’s dividend

This week, Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) will once again reward investors with a hefty quarterly dividend payment scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Specifically, the technology giant will issue a $0.91 per share dividend to shareholders of record as of November 20, 2025

How much will 100 Microsoft shares earn?

In other words, investors holding 100 MSFT shares will earn $91 in dividend income this quarter, or $364 this year.

As such, the Microsoft dividend represents a 9.6% increase from the previous payout of $0.83 per share issued September 11, 2025, which highlights the company’s ability to generate consistent free cash flow.

The subsequent payment has already been scheduled for March 12, 2026, so far with no announced changes to the amount, again signaling continued stability in the capital-return program.

While the broader technology sector averages a 1.37% yield, outpacing Microsoft’s 0.74%, consistency and rapid post-dividend price stabilization (1.2 days on average) continue to appeal to long-term income-focused investors, as do the broader financial performance and accelerating adoption of its services.

Indeed, Microsoft continues to stand out among many of its competitors, having now increased its dividend for 24 consecutive years, with 2025 alone reflecting a cumulative 10.39% annual increase.

Further, with a forward payout ratio of 22.61%, Microsoft maintains significant room for future distributions, backed by robust cash flows from its cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) segments.

All in all, Microsoft’s upcoming dividend is once again set to reinforce the conglomerate’s position as one of the most reliable income generators in the sector.
