Holders of 200,000 AZTEC tokens or more are slated to begin receiving block rewards today. The Token Generation Event (TGE) will be triggered by a single on-chain governance vote, with potential timing as early as February 11, 2026. At the TGE, all sale-acquired tokens will be freely transferable. Participation in the TGE vote is restricted to token sale participants and the network’s genesis sequencers.
