Ledger has announced a partnership with Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. to create a custom-branded Ledger Stax hardware wallet.
Ledger confirmed the partnership in a post on X. “We’ve partnered with @Lamborghini to create a custom Ledger Stax, connecting the pinnacle of automotive design with the highest standard of security and our most premium signer,” the company stated.
The custom device will launch in early 2026. Each unit will include custom packaging and a branded Magnet Folio designed for the Lamborghini collaboration.

The Ledger Stax is the company’s most premium hardware wallet offering. The device includes a curved 3.7-inch E Ink touchscreen display. Users can review and sign cryptocurrency transactions with complete clarity through the touchscreen interface.
The wallet is powered by a Secure Element chip. The ST33K1M5 chip carries CC EAL6+ certification. This is the same high-security hardware technology used in passports and payment systems.
The custom Lamborghini edition will include specialized packaging designed for the collaboration. The branded Magnet Folio provides protection and storage for the device.
Ledger Stax launch planned for early 2026
The Lamborghini x Ledger Stax will “hit the road” in early 2026 according to the company’s announcement. Specific pricing details have not been disclosed.
The standard Ledger Stax currently is the premium tier in the company’s product lineup. The Lamborghini edition adds custom branding and design elements to this existing platform.

Security research highlights hardware wallet importance
Ledger’s Donjon research team recently published findings about vulnerabilities in widely used smartphone chips. The team examined the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip found in many Android phones.
Researchers discovered an unpatchable flaw in the chip’s boot ROM. The vulnerability sits in the earliest stage of the startup process. This means the flaw cannot be corrected with software updates.
The Donjon team applied carefully timed electromagnetic pulses during the chip’s initial boot sequence. This attack bypassed memory-access checks and escalated to the highest privilege level in the ARM architecture.
“From malware that users could be tricked into installing on their machines, to fully remote, zero-click exploits commonly used by government-backed entities, there is simply no way to safely store and use one’s private keys on those devices,” the researchers stated.
MediaTek responded that electromagnetic fault-injection attacks were “out of scope” for the MT6878. The company said the chipset was designed as a consumer-grade component rather than a high-security module for financial systems.
Ledger emphasized that Secure Element chips is necessary for users who rely on self-custody. These components are designed to withstand both hardware and software attacks.
