2025 Hero World Challenge – Event Details
Even though the 2025 PGA Tour season is over and the new season doesn’t start for a little over a month from now in Hawaii, some of the best players in the world are in the Bahamas this week for the Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods.
Tiger Woods himself will not be playing this year as he is recovering from back surgery, but he is at the tournament. In a news conference this week at the tournament, Woods said he has been cleared to putt and chip, but does not know when he will be able to start playing full rounds again.
Even without Woods in the field, 20 of the best players in the world will be there, including world number one, and two-time defending champion of the event, Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler will be joined by Keegan Bradley, J.J. Spaun, Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth, Cameron Young, Hideki Matsuyama and others.
Players will be teeing up at the Albany Golf Club and will be playing for a purse of $5 million. Below are the tee times for the opening round on Thursday.
