 
 
A crypto analyst who accurately called XRP’s explosive 2024 rally says the market is still underestimating the asset.
In a new post, trader Michael XBT reminded followers that he identified XRP’s 800% breakout last year and argued that the current pullback is meant to shake out impatient holders.
According to Michael, the setup today mirrors the sentiment just before XRP’s earlier surge. The analyst added that XRP is “ready to surprise everyone once again.”
Fresh market data support the renewed optimism. XRP jumped 4.52% in the past 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum as capital flowed into new spot ETFs.
On November 24, products issued by Grayscale and Franklin Templeton recorded $164 million in net inflows, marking one of their strongest sessions to date. Analysts believe sustained inflows of $50 million or more per day would signal meaningful institutional conviction, especially if the Federal Reserve delays rate cuts.
 
Macro conditions are also playing a role. Dovish signals pushed rate-cut odds to 82% for December 2025, adding fuel to risk-on bets across altcoins. XRP’s technical picture reinforced the momentum too, as the asset held its $2 support and broke out of a descending wedge pattern, opening a path toward the $6.50–$7.20 zone.
However, the SEC’s remaining appeal window runs into Q1 2026, and Bitcoin’s dominance remains near yearly highs. Market watchers argue that XRP’s trajectory now hinges on a delicate mix of ETF demand, regulatory clarity, and XRPL upgrades such as lower reserves and an expanded DeFi roadmap.
The broader market backdrop could amplify the move. Analyst Kevin Svenson noted that altcoin dominance has begun breaking out of a four-year downtrend, aligning with historic cycles where the end of quantitative tightening triggered early altseason conditions.
If these trends hold, XRP may be entering another pivotal phase that echoes the breakout its early believers still remember.
