A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, starring the Jonas Brothers — Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas — is new on streaming this week
The official summary for the holiday-themed musical comedy reads, “In the movie, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.”
Directed by Jessica Yu (This is Us, Only Murders in the Building), A Very Jonas Christmas Movie also stars Chloe Bennet, Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, K.J. Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, Kenny G, Justin Tranter, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Danielle Jonas, Randall Park and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
A Very Jonas Christmas Movie will begin streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, Nov. 14.
While Disney+ and Hulu have not announced a release time, generally new programming begins on the platform at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on the day it is released.
Disney+, which also houses the Hulu streaming app, offers two tiers to subscribers. The ad-based Disney+ Basic tier is $11.99 per month and the ad-free Disney+ Premium tier is $18.99 per month or $189.99 per year.
The Release Of ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’ Coincides With The Release Of Album And Concert Tour
Being released in tandem with A Very Jonas Christmas Movie is the film’s soundtrack, which will also be available on Friday.
A Very Jonas Christmas Movie (Original Soundtrack) consists of 10 songs. The tracks are “Like It’s Christmas” (live version), “Best Night,” “Coming Home This Christmas” (featuring Kenny G), “Home Alone,” “Feel Something,” “Remember When,” “Better Off Alone,” “Time,” “Sucker” (live version) and “Like It’s Christmas” (studio version).
Also on Friday, the Jonas Brothers will embark on its 22-city Greetings from Your Hometown concert tour. The tour begins on Friday at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and wraps up on Dec. 22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The band’s tour stop in Las Vegas on Nov. 29 comes with a pair of special events: JonasCon will take place on Nov. 29 before the concert in the evening, and the Nick Jonas Sunday Best Brunch is set for Nov. 30 at noon before the band heads to a concert that night at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Before the musical trio hosts its convention in Las Vegas on Nov. 29, it will participate in a JonasCon event on Nov. 19 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, N.Y., before playing a concert in the venue that night.
