Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season was not kind to fantasy football managers on the injury front. Although no key player suffered a season-ending injury, a handful are in danger of missing Week 11 at the very least.
The good news is that the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints are the only two teams are on bye in Week 11. The bad news is that outside of wide receiver Chris Olave, running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Juwan Johnson, the Saints don’t have anyone else worth starting in fantasy leagues now that wideout Rashid Shaheed is plying his trade in Seattle. That could leave managers short on options as they scramble to replace the likes of Garrett Wilson, Jaxson Dart and Dalton Kincaid, among others.
Let’s walk through all of the major injury news that fantasy football managers need to know heading into Week 11.
Notable Injuries:
1. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets WR (knee)
After missing two games with a right knee injury, Wilson made his return Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, but it proved to be short-lived. He injured the same knee in the third quarter and is now expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini.
Although the Jets beat the Browns despite Wilson’s early exit, quarterback Justin Fields finished only 6-of-11 for 54 yards. Head coach Aaron Glenn refused to name a starting quarterback for Week 11 on Monday, but at this point, a switch to veteran Tyrod Taylor might only improve Wilson’s rest-of-season outlook upon his return.
Until the Jets do make that switch, they don’t have a single skill-position player who’s worth starting in standard 10- or 12-team leagues other than running back Breece Hall. Rookie tight end Mason Taylor has promise, but he isn’t startable if the Jets are going to continue throwing for fewer than 100 yards per game.
2. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants QB (concussion)
After a few concussion scares in recent weeks, Dart didn’t escape from Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears unscathed. He suffered a concussion on a third-quarter run, although he returned to the field for two plays on the next drive before the Giants pulled him to evaluate him for a concussion, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.
Dart is now in the NFL’s concussion protocol, which means he’s in danger of missing the Giants’ Week 11 game against the Green Bay Packers. Some players have cleared concussion protocol within a week—Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. did earlier this season—but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Giants err on the side of caution with their rookie signal-caller in what’s shaping up to be another lost season.
The Giants fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday, so it’s unclear whom interim head coach Mike Kafka would start under center if Dart can’t clear concussion protocol by Sunday. Tight end Theo Johnson and wide receivers Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton could be startable if Jameis Winston gets the nod, but Russell Wilson might spend more time on the ground against the Packers’ ferocious pass rush than he would throwing passes.
3. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams WR (oblique)
After scoring his sixth touchdown (!) in the last three games, Adams left the Rams’ 42-26 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth quarter on Sunday due to an oblique injury. After the game, head coach Sean McVay told reporters that Adams “probably could have been able to come back” had the game been closer, but the Rams were up multiple scores at the time.
On the Coach McVay Show Monday (h/t Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire), McVay added that he hadn’t received any updates on Adams yet, but he would be “surprised” if the veteran didn’t suit up in Week 11 for the Rams’ crucial NFC West showdown against the Seattle Seahawks. He said Adams was “optimistic about it after the game, but we’ll see how he’s feeling.”
If Adams can’t go, it’ll be all systems go for Puka Nacua, who might get force-fed 20-plus targets. Wide receiver Jordan Whittington could be in line for some extra work as well, but the only Rams skill-position players worth starting in 10- or 12-team leagues would be Nacua and running back Kyren Williams.
4. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills TE (hamstring)
As if the Bills’ 30-13 loss to the previously 2-7 Miami Dolphins wasn’t bad enough, the Bills added injury to insult by losing Kincaid to a hamstring injury in the third quarter. On Monday, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Kincaid is week-to-week moving forward, which suggests that he likely won’t be available for the Bills’ Week 11 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kincaid is second on the Bills in receiving yards (448), third in receptions (29), and he leads the team in receiving touchdowns (four). His absence should open opportunities for Dawson Knox (12 catches, 155 yards, one touchdown) and Jackson Hawes (eight catches, 113 yards, two touchdowns), although neither will be startable in standard 10- or 12-team leagues.
If anything, Kincaid’s absence might encourage the Bills to lean even more on their run game. That could be a downgrade for quarterback Josh Allen unless he’s the one who gets to cash in around the goal line.
5. Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers TE (quad)
Gadsden left the Chargers’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers with what was originally labeled a knee injury after he banged knees with a Steelers player. After he underwent an MRI on Monday, he was diagnosed with a quad bruise and was labeled day-to-day, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After hauling in only eight catches for 76 yards and zero touchdowns across his first three games combined, Gadsden had started coming on strong in recent weeks. Starting with a seven-catch, 68-yard outing against the Miami Dolphins, the rookie tight end had 24 catches for 377 yards and two touchdowns between Weeks 6 and 9.
The Chargers face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and then have a bye in Week 12, so they might be tempted to play it safe with Gadsden this week. If that’s the case, Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston could be in for an increased target share.
6. DJ Moore, Chicago Bears WR (shoulder)
Moore suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter of the Bears’ win against the Giants and was initially deemed questionable to return. He did return to the game on the Bears’ first drive of the second half, but he was only targeted once and finished with zero catches on the day.
After the game, head coach Ben Johnson told reporters that the severity of the injury was “unknown,” but he believed Moore “would do everything he can” to suit up Sunday for the Bears’ key NFC North game against the Minnesota Vikings. Fantasy managers who’ve been banking on Moore should keep their eyes on the Bears’ practice reports this week to get a sense of whether he can gut through the injury.
If Moore misses time or is limited, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams might focus even more intently on second-year wideout Rome Odunze. Tight end Colston Loveland and wide receivers Olamide Zaccheaus and Luther Burden III could be in for a slight uptick of targets as well.
7. J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos RB (foot)
Dobbins suffered a foot injury on a hip-drop tackle late in the third quarter of the Broncos’ win over the Las Vegas Raiders last Thursday night, which left him fuming after the game. He did help the Broncos run out the clock on their final drive, but it appears as though he didn’t emerge from the game fully unscathed.
On Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette reported that the Broncos are still “considering what to do” with Dobbins and added that he might go on injured reserve. If he does, he’d have to miss at least the next four games, which means he’d be out until Week 16 if not later. (The Broncos are on bye in Week 12.)
Rookie running back R.J. Harvey could have some league-winning upside if Dobbins does wind up on IR. Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin are the only other running backs on the roster who’ve received carries this year, and they’ve combined for a grand total of three carries for nine yards.
8. Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers WR (chest)
With Tucker Kraft done for the year with a torn ACL, Doubs had an opportunity to assert himself as the Packers’ go-to pass-catcher on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. Instead, he finished with one catch for five yards before leaving in the fourth quarter with a chest injury.
The severity of Doubs’ injury is unclear for now, so managers who planned to start him in Week 11 should pay close attention to the Packers’ practice reports this week. Matthew Golden missed the loss against the Eagles with a shoulder injury after logging a limited practice Thursday, while Jayden Reed is still on IR.
With or without Doubs, the Packers’ pass-catching corps might be too unpredictable on a week-by-week basis for fantasy managers to rely on anyone. Christian Watson is good for a few deep shots each game, but beyond that, running back Josh Jacobs might be the only starting-caliber Packers player in a 10- or 12-team league.
Quick Hits
1. Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens WR (ankle)
Bateman suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings that “shouldn’t keep him out too long, if at all,” according to Ryan Mink of the team’s website. If he does miss Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Zay Flowers and tight end Mark Andrews figure to lead the Ravens’ passing attack.
2. Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals RB (ankle)
The Cardinals’ running back roulette continued in Week 10. Knight led the team with 10 carries (albeit for only 28 yards) before suffering an ankle injury that knocked him out of the game, while Emari Demercado busted a 55-yard run to finish with four carries for 64 yards on the day. If Knight can’t go in Week 11 and Trey Benson isn’t ready to come off IR, Demercado will be the best option in the Cardinals’ backfield.
3. Zay Jones, Arizona Cardinals WR (Achilles)
Knight wasn’t the only Cardinals skill-position player who suffered an injury during their blowout loss to the Seahawks in Week 10. In the second quarter, Jones suffered a torn Achilles that will sideline him for the rest of the year. Jones had only 12 catches for 183 yards and no touchdowns on the year, so the Cardinals’ passing game will continue flowing through wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and tight end Trey McBride.
4. Terrell Jennings, New England Patriots RB (knee)
With Rhamondre Stevenson sidelined for the past two weeks, Jennings has been getting run behind rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson. However, he lasted only four carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before suffering a knee injury that prematurely ended his day. He told reporters that he took a knee to his left quad, which caused his knee to swell up, but he added that he’ll “definitely be OK” since “it’s just a little bruise.”
Potential Returns:
1. Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots RB
Even if Jennings can’t go on a short week against the Jets on Thursday, it seems as though Stevenson could return. He’s been a limited participant in practice both on Monday and Tuesday and seems likely to draw a questionable tag Thursday. If he does play, the question is whether Henderson remains the lead tailback after rumbling for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 win over the Buccaneers.
2. Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers WR
Pearsall has missed the Niners’ last six games with a knee injury, but it sounds as though he may be back as soon as this weekend. On Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Pearsall is on track to return to practice this week and would “be back out there” this weekend if it goes well. He had 20 catches for 327 yards in his four games this season, so his return could buoy the Niners’ passing game ahead of their Week 11 clash against the Cardinals.
3. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers QB
Pearsall isn’t the only key offensive starter who may be back this week for the Niners. Shanahan said Purdy’s ramp-up will continue as he tries to work his way back from a turf toe injury that has sidelined him for the past six games. Shanahan said the Niners want Purdy to have “three aggressive practices,” and they “want to make sure he feels good after all of them each day, too.”
4. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals QB
Burrow isn’t going to return this week, but the Bengals opened his 21-day window to practice on Monday. As much as Burrow might like to return for the Bengals’ Thanksgiving night matchup against the Ravens, Schefter believes his more realistic return date is Week 14 against the Bills. Either way, check your waiver wire to make sure he isn’t available.
