Avalanche price long-term analysis: ranging
On March 11, the cryptocurrency declined and found support above its $15.28 low. The price rebounded and reached a high of $36. Today, the cryptocurrency hit a low of $15 before recovering. AVAX’s price is currently declining but remains between $15 and $24. The cryptocurrency is now trading in a narrow range, above the $15 support but below the 21-day SMA barrier.
On the downside, the current $15 support level has not been breached since March 2025. On the upside, if buyers keep the price above the 21-day SMA, the cryptocurrency will rise. At the time of writing, AVAX is at $18.15.

The moving average lines have dropped significantly to the bottom of the chart. The 21-day SMA is moving further upward. On the 4-hour chart, the moving average lines are sloping downward, but the price bars are positioned between them. This suggests that the coin will continue to move within a range.
What is the next direction for Avalanche?
AVAX stalled above $15 on November 4. The cryptocurrency is trading above the $15 support level but below the $18 high.
Currently, it is trading above the 21-day SMA support but below the 50-day SMA barrier. If the bears surpass the 50-day SMA level and bullish momentum continues, AVAX will resume its upward trend.
