However, despite the volatile scenario, a macro expert has shared a bold Bitcoin price prediction that has caught the eyes of traders. In an exclusive interview with Anthony Pompliano, Mel Mattison, a renowned macro expert, forecasted that BTC price will hit $150,000 in February 2026.

Mattison’s prediction is based on a potential 50% move from the current price range, which he believes could take Bitcoin USD to just under $150,000.

“I think Bitcoin is setting up literally for a 50% move by the end of February 2026,” he noted. Considering the local low at around $98,000, and a 50% move can get the crypto to a little under $150k, Mattison said.

In addition, he also predicted that Bitcoin price could reach $140,000 by the end of 2025, despite the recent selling pressure in the market.

However, he warned that a rapid surge to $250,000 in three months could trigger a massive crash. In other words, the $250k level could be a “bubble peak” that might allow traders to exit the market to book huge profits, causing a massive crash in the Bitcoin USD value.

In a separate post, Ted said that “BTC short-term liquidity cluster is signaling some downside.” According to his analysis, the crypto might slip to $98,500 before a potential rebound to $105,000.
