Despite the ongoing altcoin price squeeze, one X (formerly Twitter) analyst has predicted that Solana (SOL) is going to enter major bullish territory by the end of this calendar year. So much so that the crypto is expected to appreciate more than 550% to the magical figure of $1000, according to the analyst. Currently, SOL is trading below the $180 level and under pressure from a short-term bearish setup.

The analyst, going by the name of CryptoCurb on the microblogging platform, tweeted:

“$SOL is going to $1,000 at the bare minimum.”

Solana remains the most popular programmable blockchain in the world, with on-chain activity surpassing that of many of its apparent competitors, including Ethereum, which has a market capitalization of $405 billion. SOL, with a more modest valuation of $97 billion, is struggling on the price front even as its popularity continues to soar in the development circles.

SOL ETF Flow

Solana is expected to benefit significantly from the recent launch of two major Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), namely the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) and the Grayscale Solana Trust (GSOL).

Here is the ETF flow breakdown:

The Solana ETFs have only been around for a few days, and already they have garnered roughly $200 million in investment. This indicates that, despite the ongoing downturn in the broader digital currency market, there remains solid interest in the Solana ecosystem and its ability to deliver valuable services as a programmable blockchain.

Further updates on the Solana chain, like the Alpenglow Upgrade, could enhance network capabilities, attracting high-frequency financial operations.

Can SOL Reach $1000?

SOL is currently struggling to break free of the shackles below $200, and with each passing day, it is becoming increasingly complex for the bulls to mount a strong comeback. Even with the ETF approval, SOL has struggled to take off, which is concerning for the bullish market forces that are already under pressure.

Given SOL’s strong on-chain activity and usage, it can realistically dash the prized $1000 valuation if market conditions allow it. The altcoin market has had a poor run over the last couple of quarters, and with all eyes on Q4 2025, it remains struggling. So, for the bulls, it seems like time is running out, and they need to get their act together and take charge of the proceedings.

Otherwise, if they continue to struggle as they have in the last 4-5 months, they will invite more losses and lose their way entirely.
