Three altcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), including Bitwise’s Solana staking ETF, made their Wall Street debuts on Tuesday amid the land rush of crypto applications waiting to hit the market.

Big First Day For Bitwise’s SOL Staking ETF

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), which is the first U.S. exchange-traded product with 100% direct exposure to SOL, attracted as much as $55.4 million in inflows on its debut.

The three funds generated a cumulative trading volume of $65 million on Tuesday, with BSOL accounting for the lion’s share. In fact, BSOL’s $55 million volume is the most of any ETF launch in 2025, Bloomberg’s senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said on Tuesday, outpacing the launches of XRP and Solana staking ETFs from REX Osprey.

“And what’s amazing is it seeded with $220m. It could have invested seed on Day One, which would have resulted in $280m-ish, would be even more than $ETHA’s debut. Strong start either way,” Balchunas quipped, adding that it signaled growing institutional engagement and confidence in being exposed to novel mechanisms such as staking.

Notably, BSOL will stake 100% of its SOL holdings in-house, aiming to pass along the network’s full staking yield, roughly 7%, to investors.

“I have a feeling the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, is gonna be huge,” Matt Hougan, CIO of crypto index fund manager Bitwise Invest, wrote in a Tuesday X post.

“Institutional investors love ETFs, and they love revenue. Solana has the most revenue of any blockchain. Therefore, institutional investors love Solana ETFs.”

Wall Street Opens Its Doors To Solana

Within the first hour of trading alone, BSOL led with $10 million in volume, the Canary Capital HBAR ETF (HBR) saw $4 million, while the Canary Capital Litecoin ETF (LTCC) posted $400,000, Balchunas noted.

Spot crypto funds went live on Wall Street in January 2024 with the launch of Bitcoin ETFs, followed in July by Ethereum ETFs. Those ETFs have amassed a combined $175 billion in assets under management.

Grayscale’s Solana Trust ETF (GSOL), meanwhile, has also received approval and will start trading on NYSE Arca on Oct. 29.
