Sorare CEO Nicolas Julia announced that he will be migrating from Ethereum to SOL after six years, leveraging Solana’s scalability and consumer-focused user base.
Accordingly, the company will migrate more than 10 sports games and game cards to Solana.
Sorare CEO revealed that Solana is the most sustainable chain and leader in the fantasy sports cryptocurrency industry in terms of revenue, daily active addresses, active developers, and total value locked.
The famous CEO stated that although Solana is more centralized than Ethereum, they prefer it because the blockchain prioritizes scalability and security.
Julia stated that the growing adoption of Solana shows that their decision to use SOL was the right choice, adding that Solana has come a long way compared to Ethereum despite being released five years later.
Julia stated that the transition from Ethereum to Solana will be completed at the end of the month and added that they did not lose their confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem despite the transition to Solana.
“We evaluated many options for migrating from Ethereum but settled on Solana.
However, we will continue to closely monitor high-performing ecosystems like Sui and Aptos. For now, we are confident in Solana’s progress, as the quality of its technology, the team behind it, and the network’s recent track record of stability have given us considerable confidence.
