Financial educator and Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki has reignited alarm bells about the state of the global economy, saying that 2025 could bring an unprecedented financial catastrophe.

According to the bestselling author, the event he warned about decades ago in his book Rich Dad’s Prophecy is finally coming to pass. Kiyosaki blames the modern financial system’s dependence on printed money and excessive debt for the instability he sees ahead. Among those assets, Kiyosaki singled out silver and Ethereum (ETH) as two of the most promising investments for the coming years. He called silver an “industrial metal with real-world demand” and Ethereum “a foundation of digital innovation,” emphasizing that both remain undervalued despite their long-term potential.
“I think silver and Ethereum are among the smartest bets today,” he said. “They combine utility with scarcity – something the dollar can no longer offer.”
Kiyosaki’s message ultimately focuses on financial self-education rather than fear.
