Aerosmith Announce New 5 Song EP Featuring Yungblud

After teasing a new song with Gen-Z rocker Yungblud, Aerosmith have now announced a collaborative five track EP, One More Time. The EP is slated to release November 19th, with the first single “My Only Angel” arriving Friday, September 19th. British rocker Yungblud is featured on the EP, though it’s unclear how many of the five new tracks he’ll be a part of.

Below is a teaser for Aerosmith’s first new song in a over a decade, and the track-listing for Aerosmith and Yungblud’s upcoming EP.

1. “My Only Angel”
2. “Problems”
3. “Wild Woman”
4. “A Thousand Days”
5. “Back in the Saddle” (2025 mix)

Yungblud made his debut with the band recently at the VMAs’, where he and Aerosmith (along with guitarist Nuno Bettencourt) performed a three song Ozzy Osbourne medley that payed tribute to the late heavy metal icon. Prior to this performance, Yungblud had earned quite a bit of praise for his performance at Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s final concert Back to the Beginning, where he flawlessly performed the Sabbath ballad, “Changes.”

What Else Is In Store For Aerosmith?

Prior to announcing their collaborative EP, fans were speculating if Aerosmith might be coming out of retirement. The band went through a pretty surprising and unfortunate early retirement last year, as they had to cancel their planned farewell tour due to Steven Tyler suffering a serious vocal cord injury. Despite ending their touring career, Aerosmith hadn’t formally ended as a band and the prospects of recording new music were never off the table, as confirmed by their new EP.

However, many fans still want Aerosmith back on stage. Guitarist Joe Perry had mentioned the idea of doing a final farewell show back in July, though no new details have surfaced regarding these plans. Given Yungblud’s chemistry with Steven Tyler and his youthful energy, it’s possible that Aerosmith could be toying with idea of touring again but with Yungblud helping out on vocals. This is all speculation, but it seems like it could be a fitting work-around to Steven Tyler’s vocal injury, especially if he’s not having to put so much strain on his vocals after each night. Furthermore, having Yungblud in the lineup could help widen the tour’s appeal to more generations of rock fans, particularly Yungblud’s Gen-Z audience.
