Bitcoin will shoot to as high as $1 million in a few years, thanks to a combination of bullish tailwinds, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong forecasts.
Betting On $1 Million Bitcoin Breakout
Brian Armstrong has become the latest crypto executive to drop an epic seven-figure Bitcoin price prediction.
“The rough idea I have in my head is that we’ll see a million-dollar Bitcoin by 2030,” the Coinbase CEO said during a Wednesday interview with the Cheeky Pint podcast.
Armstrong cited multiple bullish factors to support his BTC prediction, including a clearer regulatory framework beginning to take shape in the United States, which he described as a “bellwether for the rest of the G20.”
He pointed to the recently passed GENIUS Act and the crypto market structure legislation that is currently being debated in the Senate.

“Fingers crossed something could happen by the end of this year, that would be a huge milestone,” Armstrong posited.
He further mentioned the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve as another potential catalyst. “If you asked me five years ago, that would have been like a vision board. Someone would have said you’re crazy, the United States government is not going to officially hold Bitcoin.”
Armstrong’s prognosis comes as Bitcoin struggles to rebound from a recent price pullback that saw it plunge to as low as $112,238. Despite the correction, the Coinbase CEO believes the alpha crypto would pick up steam and climb to $1 million by 2030.
Industry Pundits Predict Seven-Figure Bitcoin Targets
While $1 million seems like a stretch from Bitcoin’s current price, other big names in the industry have voiced similar outlooks.
In May 2024, Twitter (now known as X) co-founder Jack Dorsey forecasted that the price of Bitcoin could go beyond $1 million by 2030.
Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has even taken it a major step further, predicting the token will reach $2.4 million by 2030.
But for others, like Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz, a million-dollar Bitcoin price tag coming as early as next year wouldn’t be a win for the crypto industry but rather an indication that the US economy is in dire straits.
“People who cheer for the million-dollar Bitcoin price next year, I was like, Guys, it only gets there if we’re in such a shitty place domestically,” Novogratz stated in an August 20 interview.
