Justin Bieber’s New Single Enjoys Its Biggest Week Yet

A month after releasing his new album Swag, Justin Bieber’s latest project is in a state of decline on the charts in the United Kingdom. The surprise project, which arrived with only a few hours’ warning, is largely stepping back, even as promotion of several tunes increases.

The full-length’s lead single, “Daisies,” is also falling, but follow-up cut “Yukon” bucks the trend and is actually gaining ground week after week. This frame is its biggest yet in the country.

“Yukon” Debuts on Two Charts

“Yukon” debuts on two of the four U.K.-based charts on which it appears. The track enters the Official Singles Downloads list at No. 88 and the Official Singles Sales tally at No. 92.

Justin Bieber Has Scored Dozens of Sales Wins

Bieber is far more successful on the downloads chart, where “Yukon” earns the singer his seventy-first appearance. He has yet to crack 40 wins on the singles sales ranking, as this new placement becomes his thirty-seventh on the Official Singles Sales roster.

“Yukon” Drives to New Peaks

At the same time that “Yukon” debuts on two charts, it also rises to new high points on another pair. Four weeks into its lifetime on the Official Singles chart — the ranking of the 100 most-consumed tunes in the U.K. — the second Swag smash jumps more than 10 spots, climbing from No. 37 to No. 24. The track manages an even greater ascent on the Official Streaming roster, pushing from No. 89 to No. 58.

“Daisies” Lives Inside the Top 10

“Daisies,” which was selected as the first single from Swag, is still Bieber’s biggest hit from the bunch. The former champion on the Official Singles chart steps back from No. 2 to No. 3 and also retreats on both the Official Streaming and Official Singles Downloads rankings at the same time.

“Go Baby” Holds On Again

Another album cut, “Go Baby,” has spent three frames on the consumption-based roster. After hitting an all-time high of No. 49, “Go Baby” dips from No. 76 to No. 82 on the Official Singles chart.

Justin Bieber’s Swag Begins to Fall

Swag holds at No. 13 on the Official Albums chart this week. That’s the only tally where the Canadian singer’s latest full length doesn’t fall. After three weeks inside the top 10, Swag dips beneath the highest tier on the Official Albums Streaming roster, where it now settles at No. 11. The title barely hangs on inside the top 40 on the Official Album Downloads ranking, stepping back from No. 37 to No. 40.
