30 years ago, Van Halen dropped Balance, the band’s tenth studio full-length. The set was a major commercial win, and it produced a string of hits and locked in the group’s superstar status worldwide. A song tied to that era has just been shared by the rock outfit, and it’s become a quick bestsellers on iTunes, as Americans still love them some Van Halen.

On Thursday (August 7), Van Halen dropped “Feelin’ (Live at Wembley Stadium, London, UK, 6/24/1995).” The cut has already climbed to No. 53 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the U.S., and it could keep rising in the coming hours.
“Feelin’” Captures the Balance World Tour
The live take comes from one of several summer 1995 shows at London’s Wembley Stadium, part of Van Halen’s Balance world tour. That trek kicked off in January of that year and wrapped in November after a 135 concerts all around the world that promoted the group’s set of the same name.
Expanded Balance Is Coming Soon
Next Friday (August 15), Van Halen will share an expanded edition of Balance. Arriving just after the set’s thirtieth anniversary, which took place earlier in 2025, the reissue includes nine previously unheard live recordings from the tour, a B-side titled “Crossing Over,” and several tracks from the era that landed on the Twister soundtrack.
Balance Was an Instant No. 1
When it arrived in January 1995, Balance debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which helped underline the band’s popularity. The set spawned rock radio staples like “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You,” “Don’t Tell Me (What Love Can Do),” and “Amsterdam,” all of which were hits on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
