Even as Morgan Wallen’s many new hits from his latest album I’m the Problem continue to claim multiple spaces on the Hot 100, one of the star’s older smashes is stealing the spotlight once more. “I Had Some Help,” one of his collaborations with Post Malone, has yet to fade from Billboard’s ranking of the most consumed songs in the United States, and more than a year after debuting at No. 1, the duet is still performing exceptionally well.
“I Had Some Help” Beats “You Proof”
“I Had Some Help” now stands as Wallen’s longest-running win on the Hot 100. This frame marks the track’s sixty-third on the tally. Last week, “I Had Some Help” tied the mark set by Wallen’s solo cut “You Proof,” which spent 62 weeks on the Hot 100 before dropping off.
“I Had Some Help” Lives Inside the Top 20
“I Had Some Help” remains a major hit in the U.S., even as it approaches a year and a half on the biggest songs list. At the moment, the cut lands at No. 17 on the all-encompassing tally, lifting two spots.
The collaboration also appears inside the top 20 on nearly every other Billboard list on which it appears this week. The tune climbs to No. 20 on the Streaming Songs ranking, though it slips from No. 18 to No. 23 on the all-genre Radio Songs roster.
The collaboration holds steady at No. 7 on the Country Streaming Songs tally and lifts one spot to No. 14 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart.
Morgan Wallen’s Single May Not Disappear for a While
The powerful combination of sustained success across sales, streams, and radio airplay — the three metrics that determine where a song sits on the Hot 100 — suggests that “I Had Some Help” won’t slip away anytime soon. It may take a massive album with a flood of major new Hot 100 wins to push the country track off the ranking for good.
